Matthew 365 Day 10

Matthew refused to nap today! He finally gave in at about 3:45pm this afternoon and slept for almost 2 hours. He woke up with the sniffles, which is probably going to lead to the cold that mommy had, but that's okay, mommy will be home to cuddle with him when it starts in 2 days. He was cranky though when he woke up from his nap so a smile photo was hard but I got one. Matthew I Love you! And yes, those are boogers on his face, but on a different note, Matthew took his first 3 steps today! He walked from the couch to me, taking 3 steps without falling and without holding on to anything!!! I am SOOO proud of you mama's boy!

Matthew 365 Day 9

February 6th, 2011

Matthew had a pretty relaxed day today. He slept in until 10:30 and then played all day today. He was a little piggy, and had plenty of fruits and veggies today, plus his favorite cinnimon and maple puffies. He had a bath tonight that he loved to splash in and get mommy wet with bath water, and soap.

Matthew 365 Day 8

Matthew had his first bloody nose today from his daredevilish stunts. He attempted to walk across the playpen, and really just fell across the playpen and hit the side. He cried for a minute, and then he was fine. However everytime he tries to walk he falls on something and hurts himself. Well Maybe not everytime, but close. He loves to furniture walk, but furniture makers do not make every piece of furniture safe for babies. He has been a happy boy all day but is now moving into the phase of "I don't want to miss anything" and is refusing to take his 2nd nap during the day which makes for a really cranky bedtime. Mommy has been sick all day today, and Matthew didn't want to cuddle. But I'm sure that if Matthew ends up with this cold that I have he will want to cuddle all day long. But that is what Mommys are for :) I Love you Matthew

Matthew 365 Day 7

Matthew was a tired boy all day today. It's probably because he has yet to sleep through a night without crying in the middle for quite a few months now. We are addressing this with his dr at his appointment next week. He was a happy boy though dispite it all, and loves playing with all his toys from Christmas and his Birthday.

Matthew 365 Day 6

Matthew spent time with Bubba and Grandpa today while mommy did some errands, and had a meeting. He was a very good boy today. He played and played and played his little heart out. He is actually sleeping early tonight. He is teething, and he already has one two year molar, and he's only a year! it's only a matter of time before the other 2 year molar comes in on the other side to match. He was so excited when mommy got home this afternoon, and was upset when mommy had to go pick up daddy from work, but was all giggles when we both walked in the door. He played with us for a few minutes, then had a bubby and went to sleep. Please dont grow up too fast Matthew! Mommy & Daddy Love you!

Matthew 365 Day 5

Matthew is very talkative today! He is babbling up a storm and throwing on the cute act so he can get what he's not supposed to have or do what he is not supposed to do. Like grabbing things off the kitchen table, or ripping apart the newspaper. He's teething up a storm today too! Mr. Rosey Cheeks! At this moment he is fighting sleeping his evening nap he usually takes at 6pm-7pm and is extremely over tired. I see an early bedtime in his future tonight!

Matthew 365 Day 4

Day 4. February 1st, 2011.

Matthew didn't get to go out and play in the snow today. He has still yet to at all since he has been born. Its always too windy and cold when it snows so it would not be good parenting to take him out to play as much as we would love to. He looked out all the windows multiple times today amazed that the ground was all white, and went ahhhhhh in his high pitched scream and then clapped. I think that means he likes it. Hopefully when the snow stops and we get a semi warm day, where it is not bitter cold outside we can bundle him up in his snow clothes and take him out. (He looks like the giant and can barely move in the snow clothes, it's cute. We just had to try them on him when we got them!)
